Each business qualified by the TSSA is issued a contractor’s license that may be listed on a company website or can otherwise be easily referenced by anyone on their contact line.

5. Have They Provided You with a Detailed Estimate?
Some companies will purposely be vague with their quotes so they can add extra charges once the work has been completed. Ensure that you receive the full scope of the work that is to be done in your home, so you aren’t left with any surprises when it’s time to pay.
