Furnace Inspection

Air Handler

1. Check and adjust thermostat
2. Check, test and adjust all safety controls
3. Clean burners/replace nozzle
4. Inspect heat exchanger
5. Check thermocouple/electrodes
6. Clean and adjust pilot assembly
7. Clean and check spark ignition control
8. Adjust burner, analyze for efficiency including temperature rise
9. Check line pressure
10. Clock meter: btu/hrs
11. Lubricate all moving parts
12. Check for gas leaks in furnace
13. Check filters
14. Turn exposed dampers of heating if marked
15. Venting
16. Check drains if necessary
17. Clean blower/circulator belts
18. Check for loose wires and all connections
19. Gas test tag and gas piping completed
20. Return gas to unit and relight all other appliances
21. Clean up surrounding areas
22. Review results with customer

1. Check all safety controls, thermostat, control systems, sensors
2. Check all electrical components and connections
3. Check furnace blower and drive belt, replace blower drive if necessary
4. Lubricate fan motor
5. Check furnace blower bearings
6. Check fittings for leaks, check refrigeration pressures and levels
7. Measure full load current draws on furnace motor and compressor in condensing unit
8. Measure air volume circulating through furnace
9. Check condensing unit coils
10. Inspect air filters
11. Review results with customer

1. Check all electrical components and connections
2. Check float assembly for proper operation
3. Check drain
4. Check for leaks
5. Set up for winter operation
6. Clean or replace media pad
7. Review Results with customer

1. Check all electrical components and connections
2. Remove and check cells
3. Clean pre-filter
4. Check charcoal filter

Air Conditioning Inspection

Fireplace

1. Clean and check condenser
2. Check electrical connection
3. Check all safety controls
4. Lubricate all moving parts
5. Check blower components
6. Check air filters
7. Check and test condensate drain pan and pipe
8. Check and clean thermostat
9. Cycle unit and check temperatures
10. Check for correct air flow
11. Check subcooling temperatures as per unit guidelines
12. Check reversing valve and defrost control
13. Clean up surrounding areas
14. Review results with customer

1. Check termination and vent system for drafting
2. Check line pressure
3. Brush/whisk logs
4. Clean glass
5. Remove blower housing and check function of fan
6. Check the pilot
7. Check that primary air shutter is set at proper position
8. Ensure function of on/off switch and thermostat
9. Check for loose wires and all connections
10. Return gas to unit and relight all other appliances
11. Review results with customer

Boiler Inspection

HRV Inspection

1. Check and adjust all safeties
2. Check thermostat
3. Check and clean burners
4. Check flue and venting
5. Check for leaks
6. Check oil pumps
7. Review results with customer

3. Check air intake
4. Check fan
